    The Collaborative Studies Coordinating Center (CSCC) is the coordinating center for four National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) bilateral health agreements in the field of cardiovascular and cardiopulmonary epidemiology. These collaborations involve cross-sectional epidemiological surveys, rescreens, and mortality follow-up surveys in disease in Russia, People's Republic of China and Poland. The fourth study, being conducted in Pakistan, is a clinical trial to increase knowledge and attitudes about CVD.
    Mission Statement:  To further the improvement of life and human relations through scientific exchange and the collection preservation and application of research data.
