The three main parts of the course are: 1) Introduction to GLM (ch 1-6) 2) Methods of estimation (ch 7,9, handouts) 3) Multivariate response (ch 6, optional text, handouts) A small fourth component is: 4) Other topics; e.g. the EM algorithm (handouts), Bartlett corrections (ch 13), bias correction (ch 13), diagnostics (ch 12), etc. Reading outside the textbooks is highly encouraged. I'll give a recommended reading list of papers as we progress.
